Preview to Entre2Nuages Series on History of Buddhism

There are many facets to Buddhism, held within three developing levels of Teaching by the historical Buddha ,Sakhyamuni around 2500 BC. Here is a short video portraying Ajahn Chan who held the Abbot chair of the Forest Monks in Wat Nong Pah Pong monastery in Thailand .

Forest Monks follow a very simple disciplined lifestyle which is anchored in the original " turning of the wheel " that is first series of Teachings the Buddha gave after his Enlightenment under the Bodi Tree in Bodth Gaya, current day Bihar, India . The Tree is situated on the site of the Mahabodhi Temple pictured here

Ajahn Chan was one of the first to visist the West and in particular the UK and inspired many students to experience for themselves the benefits of relaxing the mind through calming their emotions in order to get a glimpse to ultimate reality, that beyond yet not different from ordinary reality.
