Forest Monks follow a very simple disciplined lifestyle which is anchored in the original " turning of the wheel " that is first series of Teachings the Buddha gave after his Enlightenment under the Bodi Tree in Bodth Gaya, current day Bihar, India . Ajahn Chan was one of the first to visist the West and in particular the UK and inspired many students to experience for themselves the benefits of relaxing the mind through calming their emotions in order to get a glimpse to ultimate reality, that beyond yet not different from ordinary reality.
