From Debbie...
I am a mother, a wife, and a retired middle school science teacher. And now I am also an Oiler, a Certified Raindrop Practitioner, and a Licensed Spiritual Healer as well!
In 2001 I broke my both the ulna and the radius bone in my left wrist. The cast came off and physical therapy started. On my first visit my therapist said he thought I had RSD. Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy is now called Complex Regional Pain Syndrome Type I and Type II. He gave me some information and I came home and googled and became a self-taught expert. This was necessary because the many doctors I saw to get help with this painful condition were not educated about this condition.
I was prescribed various drugs by different doctors for pain management and my heightened sensitivity to stimuli. The pain was and is like lightning bolts shooting through the arm without warning and a hypersensitivity to touch and temperature.
Unfortunately when I take pain pills I get totally looped. Also the other side effects were awful! One drug dropped my normally low blood pressure even lower so that I almost fell down every time I stood up.
So three years later, in 2004, while visiting my daughter, Rachel Katz, I learned about therapeutic grade essential oils. I walked into her apartment holding my left arm in what had become its natural position-bent at the elbow with my clawed hand resting near my shoulder. My daughter said put out your hand. She put a few drops of peppermint in the palm of my hand. Almost immediately my hand had a normal temperature for the first time since the break and the claw opened up.
I said what is this and what did you do? That was my introduction to Young Living. I read an early version of the Reference Guide for Essential Oils by Connie and Alan Higley. We spent much of our visit talking about these miracles. I came home did some research and here I am five years later writing this book.
